بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ

Bismi Allah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem

  1. 1 إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا

    eeza Zulzilat Al-ard Zelzalaha

    When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion,

  2. 2 وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا

    waakhrajati Al-ard ath-ka-la-ha

    And the earth throws up her burdens (from within),

  3. 3 وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ مَا لَهَا

    wa kala Al-insan ma laha

    And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'-

  4. 4 یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا

    yawma'ithin toohadthisoo akhbara

    On that Day will she declare her tidings:

  5. 5 بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا

    be-anna Rabbak auha laha

    For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration.

  6. 6 یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ یَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتࣰا لِّیُرَوۡا۟ أَعۡمَـٰلَهُمۡ

    yawma'ithin yasduru An-nas ashtatan lee-yoo-raw a'amaalhum

    On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done).

  7. 7 فَمَن یَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَیۡرࣰا یَرَهُۥ

    faman ya'mal mithqala Dharrah-teen khayran Yarah

    Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it!

  8. 8 وَمَن یَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةࣲ شَرࣰّا یَرَهُۥ

    Vaman ya'mal mithqala tharra Sharran Yarah

    And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it.
