بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ

Bismi Allah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem

  1. 1 أَلَمۡ نَشۡرَحۡ لَكَ صَدۡرَكَ

    Alam nashrah laka sadraka

    Have We not expanded thee thy breast?-

  2. 2 وَوَضَعۡنَا عَنكَ وِزۡرَكَ

    vavada'na anak Vezraka

    And removed from thee thy burden

  3. 3 ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنقَضَ ظَهۡرَكَ

    ankaza zha-h'rak

    The which did gall thy back?-

  4. 4 وَرَفَعۡنَا لَكَ ذِكۡرَكَ

    Wa rafa'na laka Zikrak

    And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?

  5. 5 فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ یُسۡرًا

    Fainna ma'a Al-usri yusra

    So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:

  6. 6 إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ یُسۡرࣰا

    Inna ma'a Al-usri Yusra

    Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.

  7. 7 فَإِذَا فَرَغۡتَ فَٱنصَبۡ

    feidha faragta fansab

    Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,

  8. 8 وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَٱرۡغَب

    wa-ilaa Rab-bik Fargab

    And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention.
