Bismi Allah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem

    Ar-Rahman

    (Allah) Most Gracious!

    Wan-najmu Wal ash-shajaru yasjudaani

And the herbs and the trees - both (alike) prostrate in adoration.

    Wal-sama rafaha voh-vah-zah Al-Meezan

And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice),

    Alla tatghova fay Al-Meezaan

In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance.

So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance.

    Wal-ard wad-ah-haa Lil-anami

It is He Who has spread out the earth for (His) creatures:

And He created Jinns from fire free of smoke:

    baynahuma Barzakh la yabgheeyani

Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress:

    Wallahu Al-jawaari Al-munsheaatu fay Al-bahri Kaelaelami

And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains:

    fe-bay-yee Ala'i Rabbi-kuma tukazzibani

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

    kullu alayha fan

All that is on earth will perish:
